A few days ago, we stopped by our local comic book and games shop (Madness Games & Comics) and fell in love with this little cutie. He watched our larger Flash teddy bear at home, so we just had to have him. Continue reading The Flash Mini Teddy Bear
It was Taco Tuesday and I didn’t get any tacos, but I sure got a ton of great TV to watch, so I’ll let this one slide. We were busy this evening selling items on Facebook Marketplace but still managed to get home in time for The Flash and a few others.
The Monday after Thanksgiving is always a bit rough, returning to the office (or in my case, my desk) after a few days off and fun time with the family. I hope that Cyber Monday helped you ease back into the M-F, 9-5!
We picked up a Samsung SmartThings starter kit this evening from Best Buy and have already gotten it all setup with our Nest (Thermostat and Protect), Philips Hue lights, and the outlet (powering our Scentsy). Do you have a smart home? If so, what “things” do you have and use? Of course, all of this took about no time to setup with the Samsung SmartThings app so we had plenty of time for some live and recorded TV this evening.
We’re exhausted but glad to be back home after a 4-day trip to visit family for Thanksgiving. With a 6-hour drive today, we didn’t have much in us to watch TV but we managed to knock out 2 of our can’t-miss shows each week: Madam Secretary & Shameless.
These past few days we’ve not been able to get in the amount of TV that we normally watch, due to visiting family and enjoying great food. I hope you all have had an amazing Thanksgiving week/weekend so far if you’re in the US and/or celebrate. Today we’ll return home, so Sunday night we will be once again enjoying our regular TV consumption from the comfort of our couch with all of our pets… assuming they didn’t eat the entertainment center wires or chew up the couch, here’s hoping!
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life
It’s 3 am and I’ve just finished watching the first episode of the new Netflix original – Gilmore Girls. Ok, so it’s not “new” but a revival of a classic we all know and loved that ended almost a full decade ago… or so we thought! And now for a breakdown on the rollercoaster of emotions that I experienced while watching. Continue reading “Gilmore Girls is baaaaaaaack!”
I’m starting something new tonight – going to blog a bit about the TV shows Anthony and I watch on a nightly basis. I’ll write a little blurb about each episode, what I thought about it, if I cried (I cry a lot when I watch TV, depending on the show), and what I think is happening with the show as a whole. Basically just a place to dump my thoughts during/after watching, but I will not be rating the episodes because I think that’s just weird.
